Don't let the holiday

rush of the next few weeks get to ya...ho ho fricken ho.....lalalalala love this season so lets get grateful...Everyday when you wake up try to think of something you are grateful for like when I complain about the laundry i have to be grateful for the arms to do my laundry....yupperz 'Today I got my Christmas dishes out and i have allot I should have done it earlier but lalalala ....ok this is a short one because Iam up to my ears in chores and cookies so till tomorrow oh my gosh be grateful you have eyes to read this....Bingo ...God Bless

Lani-time I mean lets get real it never was about Flalalalifetime.....besides who watches it my mother in love and ever other woman who has not enough to do.....oh stop Lani today is a great day tomorrow my baby Ms. Independence turns 25 wow reading back in some of my journals i really had fun with that girl she was my second and last and really since Apron Strings did most of the first baby stuff she was like a little doll. Now lets reflect on a much needed subject I have found that now that I am not working I have alottttt of time to dally not dilly just dally and this house has more crap in it than i even knew ..seriously why would anyone have all their children s teeth...ok save a few little ones but jessuss two boxes labeled all the way through there wisdom teeth that is just not right but in looking at them I am trying to come up with a good way to put these little gems to work any idea's? I could make a rattle for when they have there own children but then I would be waiting till I'm oh 80 .....I could gold plate them and make some lovely jewelry perhaps it would become the lastest thing....the possibilities are endless. Well today my friend Johanna boh banna is coming over to make some holiday cookies it should prove to be fun do you remember attitude is everything so while you are out there do not be part of the fa shit crowd put on a holiday face and be nice....God Bless

Ahh luck o' da Irish I spend the first part of the morning at the radio station KHAYwith Charlye check out her sweet hat..... you all know I spend my Wednesdays there just click the link on my sidebar and come listen to me....woowhooo, So we celebratedish let me go get some of the pictures ...there is one of me and Charlye before we took off for our adventure then one of the lady oh crap what the heck is her name i only worked with her for a few years but that was a long time ago checkout her earrings.....ok then off to the swap meet look at how beautiful the flowers are and the smell can you smell them ...how long till they come up with smell computers wow i be tit will happen...then look at the green car. how fun...so after we got done at the swap meet I meet the nicest little girl well she was probably 23ish but sweet and she complimented me on my clover earrings and i gave them to her ....it is my new thing do something nice and unexpected just to be nice....sweet .....and she was so grateful. Well after I got all done at the radio station it was off to my regular job where i had so much to do we are having a big seminar tomorrow night i will get pictures for you of course.....I'm tired been up since 4:30 am that is .....Thank for listening and God Bless ....

Im alive but really sick...

Merry Christmas a day late and a dollar short.....Sorry to be such a stranger but two days before Christmas got a cold...but I have never gotten a cold like this one...at first just a little sore throat but with in one day good night my love see you in a week or so........So barely had Christmas just hoping i got no one sick that is older..........because this is hell...... so it is Sunday and I'm not getting better i wish i had an extra head i could screw on when this one is out of it...but shower up and back to work tomorrow ......I hope everyone had a really nice Christmas with there family and friends. I wish that everyone has a great new year cause i know it is going to be another good one....hey it could be worse ....if you think things are bad sit down and write yourself a gratitude list thing will not seem so bad after all. Ok going to take my NyQuil and float off to sleep ...God Bless......I will upload pictures from christmas and this last week as soon as I'm able......

Im alive and crazzzzzyyyy buzzzzy

Well got the office party out of the way today it consumed me for the last month...but all went well ....thank god it is over ......i told you i had to burn 100 or so CD's then here is a good couple of stories .....So i burn these Cd's with Holiday music for the guests at the party to take home with a custom Hershey candy bar...good huh??/ so Dr.m asked me if he could listen to one i think that he thought good lord if it is her hillbilly music were in trouble but

being to kind to say so i let him know that it was classic music not to worry and gave him a CD to listen to...so i come back from lunch he is in his office and he says hey that CD ...i say yeah????? expecting him to say it is FAB Lani...nope he says "Its Blank" I say to him right smart Alick.....he says no really Lani its blank..I turn white as a ghost knowing there are 100 or more on the shelf wrapped up tight....Holy Shit......now what .........well one of the girls says lets go check it....we do indeed it is blank but it was one of the last four that I did not wrap so we tested the other two blanks and two loaded....so what do we do...So we grab random Cd's out of the stack and play they are all OK...but who knows if there any that might have been blank....hope not......the picture is of left to right Ms. Personal Phone calls...Dr. B carlanito....Shannahan Dr. M .....JoJo ....Ash......and me memememe ......nice group....huh what a handsome group.....so my mommy had surgery on Monday so I'm going up to visit her this weekend..oh oh oh i got a new pal to visit as most of you know I volunteer friendly visits for hospice here ...remember my friend Bernice passed on Halloween. ...... 96 god bless her ..Well i have a new friend named Margo and she seem to be quite the lively one god bless her...I went to visit her and she lives in a cottage at her sons home...and I could not get in the gate no code...and so I left a note and she called my work to let me know she was there and there was a side gate i could have come in and on and on and on and on....LOL I am so excited to meet her because she seem right up my alley.....I'm so blessed i must say.....OK I'm exhausted from this party stuff and have a really busy day tomorrow to boot....I will catch up Sunday when i get home...I hope everyone is well and getting all there Holiday things done....Oh my and i sent my bloggers a card and got three or more email from them saying all they got was a envelope some just got the front of the envelope..LOLOLOLOL.......seems the envelopes were a bit how do we say CHEAP!!!!!!! they actually fell apart in the mail I'm going to scan the card and share with those who never got the pleasure of seeing them........God Bless and sorry i have been so silent.......

Is anyone but me dressing up tomorrow for work for Halloween???? I can not reveal the outfit but it is going to be a gas! but for now I'm going to go gather a few of my quilts to show you.....This week has been pretty quiet....I ACTUALLY HAD TO TAKE THE DAY OF Wednesday AS TO NOT KILL OR HARM ANYONE AT THE OFFICE....HAVE YOU EVER JUST HAD IT...nothing IS WRONG BUT NOTHING IS RIGHT YOU ARE BEING PULLED AT ALL ENDS AND AND AND .AHHHHHHH never mind it is OK I need to be grateful I'm working some poor souls out here are in pretty bad situations...I will pray for them and get off my pitty pot....thanks guys....god bless...

Oui what a month............

Ok Im officially back and will promise to blog daily .....hummm....I will try I have been so busy and if I did not mention this before busy with none of my usual things....my Mommy's 80th birthday was this past weekend but before I give you the pictures for that I am going to do a 4th of July one I had the BBQ that you all were invited to...where were you???? It was the 2nd annual (4 years later ) BBQ....It was fabulous so many beautiful friends came and enjoyed the day I gotta say before I describe it I am truly blessed with all the people in my life from quilting to work to program to neighbors to you my long distance ones..Jezz I sound like a preacher....So here we go The BBQ took 4 years to prepare for that is what it seemed like because we had a BBQ 4 years ago but between health and patio issue it was tilted seriously it was the patio was slowly sinking but hubby does NOTHING unless it is cash and this is a blessing but can get a bit nerve racking for a woman who wants what she want now ....yesterday was to late......he seems to have an effect on my that is calming and I forget what it was I was complaining about an hour earlier I think he drugs me like my poor Britney Spears......Glad she is back....LOL....So the scene was set for 1 pm arrival and that is all I can remember ...... people flowing in like a river......And the whole time much to my pleasure all I heard was "Wow this is Yummy and laughter all day.....We BBQ'ed of course and played bochie ball i hope that is the way you spell it..The kiddies had a All American Cupcake decoration station.....Hubby got out his rope and they had roping lessons then the guns came out and everyone willing was practicing there shots...well later that day when we were cleaning up hubby noted that where he had put the cans to target shot was on the upper raised sprinklers and that those who were able to shot the can also shot of the tops of the sprinklers....LOLOLOLOLOL.........then mid day Heather decided she wanted to go ride the Quad up and down the drive way like a 10 years old it was quite adorable the girl can do NO wrong in mommy's eyes. Hanks and pretty girl had her family there and it turns out that her mom is another Lani lost at birth........I have to let my sister know that we now have the complete set as triplets......So the day was a complete success one of the guys that came a friend named Jon brought me the prettiest flowers and that was great because between what I cooked and people brought we could have feed half of Simi....So the day went on with out a hitch I think.....and that evening me Heather Anne , Hank and Pretty girl went up to the top of the hill with our sparklers and watched the fireworks all over Simi and all we kept saying is Wow how can so many people be doing these Illegal fireworks and no cop's.....gotta love this place...here here for the rednecks....LOL...so the next update will be about Mommy's 80th and hopefully i will get that in today...to like I said I'm back people and Tom.....God Bless I have missed you.....And just below is the slide show

I swear I woke up all sunny and bright the morning of June 25th and the next thing I knew I was on what I think was a space ship........Since that faithful day I have been taken to Buellton to a quilt retreat ....... and had a big ole 4th of July BBQ on the space ship which looked just like my back yard....go figure......I swear where has the time gone it only seems like a few days but I woke up in my own bed....Hum the hubby did not seem to even know I was missing I woke up looked at him kinda funny and all he could say was Happy Anniversary........ woe! had that much time passed and had I the loving and never forgetanything... just so I can let you know you forgot had I moi forgotten...YUP........Thank the good lord we have one another because it takes one of us to remember things around here...I am going to go make a couple of slide shows so you can see what my outer space trip was like I came back with many many pictures....Enjoy and I promise I will not desert you again like that .....damn those Aliens...God Bless

What are you going to do to make this a giving season and that does not mean you have to give money god know we have none to spare but just do one small act of kindness one day and let
nobody know just do it to be sweet.... I know for a fact that people who give of themselves are living a full life .... So Thu this grateful month of November lets try to give a bit even if it is to open a door for someone or if you see a person smile even if they don't respond you will feel better...and don't get a resentment if they don't which is our natural reaction I think if you do these small things they will become habit and the world will be a better place because of you..I have a thing called waving Wednesdaysz I wave all day while driving to work and more people must wonder where they know me from but thru this believe it or not I made a good friend I will tell you the story tommorrow or tonight gotta run ......oh oh oh movies
