Thank you Monday

Good Lord I am so happy to have a beginning of a week. This whole Holiday time has been exhausting. I have thought it was Monday or Sunday or some other day of the week. Shit the last three weeks. It only happens when these Holiday's land mid week and we have a day off here and there. Then there is the getting all the Holiday decoration's put away.



I always have something that I have forgotten to pack. Holiday sock's, some bell's on a door and this year when I thought I had just done it. A towel , some socks, and a lamp shade. The lamp shade really set me over the edge. How did that little lamp get packed with out it's shade?

 Finally all the stuff is away. Then I saw them while relaxing on the couch watching the premier of Downton Abbey. All cuddled the hubby all tucked away in the bedroom. Ahhh this is nice, a nice New Year evening. Me my tea and Lady Mary! I make my tea in my new Downtown Abbey cup that I got from my good friend Linda. Thank you Baby Jesus!  Why I even got Downton Abbey Tea. HALLA Then I look over just a touch and there they were. The Balls'.  The stupid red and white hanging just high enough to not be noticed. The Balls no movement just the sight of them to say "Enjoy your show asshole because tomorrow you will forget us again, and Tuesday again. Until you rip us down damage the light and need a meeting before you drink your self into a oblivion.  And who hung those little devil's. ME!



 

Ok moving on the play offs are upon us. Football my friend Football. Now I am the last person to like this sport but a girl can change. This is a sport where big burly men knock the crap out of one another while opposing team member's can be seen gentle helping each other up off the grass. Where one small team member spends the whole game kicking a ball on the side lines waiting to have the chance to make that last field goal and clinch the game. Ahhhh Football. The sport of champion's and one a woman whole be smart to get to know as she can actually sit on the couch jump up in a frieze and Yell fiercely "Run you Bastard Run" . Ladies who cares what team it is. The mere fact that we can yell obscenities and have no regrets no guilt, no I am so sorry I said that. The wonderful feeling why I now live for it.

I am back on schedule with all my little hobbies. No New Year resolution's they are for people who think they make a difference in their own lives. Just stop the crap and do it!  Really think of it this way if you stop doing something say -  stop eating sugar, stop smoking, stop yelling then here is the thing. Just stop telling everyone. Do not tell anyone this way if you start doing it again you are none the worse. But if you succeed people do notice and you have success. Easy!






Oh Oh we went to Mr. and Mrs. Jassem's house yesterday with Uncle Pace for Football. How they make such a small space so comfortable and fun is beyond me. It must be the love.










And my second grandchild Olive had fun to. I wish I could take a paper bag and play with it for hour's at a time.





Then hit the shelf for a nap.

 At half time Mrs. Jassem and I took a walk along her water way.







We had a good little walk. Ducks, and little waterfall's.

 Then came the COFFEE this is not your ordinary coffee. It is Armenian it is fully brewed grounds that are fine like power. It is heated up to a precise temperature until the secret foam form's Then it's poured into a cup and

The Shirt How funny am I

So I am looking at my blog which needs to be updated more often because I am wearing the same gray tank in all the post for the last month. How funny.This month/week has brought many ghost from the past good and strange. Have you ever had times like these. The good thing about being honest and not being a liar is that you do not have to remember what you say ! Wa La !

Enough of that . I have to try to get Grama to get dressed and go out for a field trip today. She is wanting to leave the house less and less. But in all fairness it must be hard for her. Did I bastards brat's are good.

Great my Mama got the cold from Hell and to top that off so did Pa (hubby). No joke look at the picture of me. Talk about what the hell! God Dammit

I tried with all my might to stay away from them both. I slept on the couch, I made food wearing surgical gloves, honestly i literally ignored them for two weeks. How they survived I will never know. God Knows how fricken important I am.

But on the bright side I have to get out in the yard today. I was waiting until I felt like to sweat would not be a 103 fever. Seriously the cold from hell scared the shit out of me.

I have a ton of work to do on the computer with garden, cooking, preserving etc. It is time consuming but I do it ever morning and then go on with my day.  





Heather will be down for 5 days. Count them FIVE days. It is like I am going on vacation when she comes I get so excited! She will be able to cut grandma's hair again.They get goofy!

The Weather outside is frightening but

Sorry I just had that song in my head. I have been sick with some kind of bug-ish-cold like flu thing. I have been literally down in bed for a week with one day or shall I say night in the hospital.

But today Friday (Now it is Monday )  I feel like life is alive in some stinky way. I need  a shower and I need it now but not before I check in to the mail and Internet action.  Actually I did not give a shit if I did not post that is how sick I was.

Today which is now Sunday Monday I am actually in the closet of my craft room and using the computer in here. I have my speakers with my music set up it is awesome. I need to get speakers for the computer I gave the other ones to my Daddy.He said I did not I say I did this could go on until I get them returned to me by the Final Will! I will just buy more.

My poor house is begging me to clean it, I have to get my poor mom out of the house for a walk today. Hey move it or loose it - Now I truly see why they say that .

I need to take mommy out to Hemet to play a couple of Maj's games with her peeps's this weekend. I swear every night she asks the same question. It comes at about oh say 8:45 pm and it goes like this. "Honey , Where is my purse" the same answer every night. Mama it is right by your bed! - "Are you Sure? "

Last night she actually giggled when she asked like she knew the answer. LOL

Well I have to go catch up on my Cooking site , gardening site, Canning site and all things Internet I do it in the morning then I do not get back on till tomorrow morning. Oh oh oh plus I am staring a little canning group here at the house.

So sorry I really have been just trying to catch up with myself. I have some issues going on but they are my issues. Resentments and shit . I really need to get over myself. But I have been updating my other blogs and check-in in on Faceplace . I made a new jelly a Grape strawberry jam. I have done a lot of stuff in the upper garden (Linda did you see it)

Alrighty also the garden is taking a lot of my time. Seems the god damn rabbits and fricken ground squirrel think I am planting for there entertainment and nutrition. Read more on my gardening blog. Hey the pellet gun is loaded and the scope is spot on.

I am now the official writer for the Simi at the Garden blog. That is fun. I am meeting a lot of new peeps and everyone seems personable for now....

I have a few projects I want to get started but I seem to have so many now that I am getting back into my right mind. Note I did not use normal mind..lol.

Back in the saddle

So here is my brain off coffee...Zoom...zoommm.zaaoomm...It goes in a hundred different directions. I have been feeling better but have Dr. Saw-off's restrictions. One which just kills me is no gym...I lost a lot of weight I am now at my fighting weight 135...WOOT WOOT. But at 57 that weight is hanging like a wet towel. Now to be honest all the trainers in the world and all the exercise in the universe will not completely help. Oh sure I can start to walk again and trust me I will. The problem is my brain yes again!

Here is my brains schedule:

1. Wake up at 5:30 (like it or not)
2. Stare at the ceiling & tell my self how good a walk would be (space moments)
3. Take the dogs out (Yes I accompany them for their morning shit poop)
4. Put up a pot of de-cafish coffee
5. Take care of the horse (more shit poop)
6. Give my canary her broccoli and corn (Shut up I am a mommy)
7. Grab a cup of what ever I brewed up and OJ
8. Do my morning pages (do not ask)
9. Think about walking
10. Talk to my baby Heather Anne
10. Sit down at the computer to update my various blogs/websites
11. Start some project and you DO NOT want a list of pending projects Oh you do ok here

This little lovely was sitting in the bottom of a box ...Dried out and ugly ...I took it home for a mere .50 cents and made it beautiful.It brings back ,memories of dip and chips and football. Not from today but my parents use to have the best football parties all season long. Neighbors and friends would come over..And even if you did not like or liked the sport our house was a sport all to its self. Beer, popcorn and whatever anyone brought. Sunday at the house was football, beer and lots and lots of Run God Dammit run....or Go you stupid bastard....lol.sorry for the profanity but Pu really can not candy coat it...

So in caring on the good ole' boys and girls time...we are watching NFL playoffs while I pressure can black bean soup.....Rah Rah

So much going on I have Heather coming in tonight for the baby shower for Skinny big belly tomorrow....looking forward to it would rather if i could have the baby to play with but in gods time....for now tomorrow is all about Meggie .....Made some cupcakes ....candied some walnuts for the salad and got all the nice plates from the first marriage i have some pretty stuff.........i really just need to check in feeling kinda crappy something going on with the tummy but all is well ....i can pee poop and fart so that means it is just something not acting like it should damn it.....nothing a few doctors appt.s can not fix...God bless health insurance....today i was in my home and was walking around and ya know i sure do love my house...it is so just enough...and my back yard is so super look at the little hummer i caught on film today so sweet ...oh let me go get the picture......Ok I'm going to make a few posts today and separate my subjects....next is the salad I'm making for tomorrow...it is so delicious remember the 4th party i gave there was a salad that everyone could not get enough of and I think the Dave ate the bowl it is still missing....next post the salad and the recipe and how to candy walnuts that i have eaten most of.....gotta watch it do not i say not want to put any pounds back on still struggling with the last 5 but i think if i would exercise more or at all they would fall off...god bless miss u all....

So I got a new.....

Digital camera woohooo so it is so bitch en yes i said bitch en I'm 55 and can say that if i did not get this it would have been a big bummer in the summer...but this camera is so super i think there is so much stuff to figure out on it why it told me that it could make all my dreams come true so i sent hubby to bed and we are getting aquainted....lol.....so the weekend is coming and i am going to try to catch up with myself I have been so busy that i need to catch up with my house and hubby...ok i swear one more thing i will i will get to the gym could someone please give me some kind of motivation or razzz me i need a kick in the ass....geee i seem to be swearing so much this year......Ok good night and god bless

Little Treasures are all around us!

So got back to work this week and it was a kick butt week so buzzie and let me tell you I'm grateful ...the doctors were right on task the girls were on there toes and everything went so well. but oh my god my aching back....lol..here is the little treasure in all this my back hurt and i needed to figure out how the heck to make it stop well because i sit most of the day i stood and cut strips for my scrappy calender quilt standing up for an hour or so helped......ta da little treasure....any who got a busy weekend tomorrow i am going to attempt to go back to the gym...haha....after being so sick i swear I'm scared to do anything why i went to bed at 8pm every night this week except Tuesday meeting night gotta stay up late for my ladies....love coffee and Tuesday night with the girls....so yoga ....10am meeting.....then clean the home....and tomorrow night we are going to take hubby to dinner he is 50 years young..god bless him...i married a younger one ya know they say that the men go first so in reality I will have him around probably my whole life.,,...lucky me yet another little treasure....then Sunday I'm going with my BFF Cindy to the Rose Bowl Flea Market and buy allot of crap I do not need and feel great about it...honestly it is just having fun with your friend that makes the day so great...again what do we have yup another little treasure...see there every where....Tomorrow night we are taking hubby to The Palm what a place to eat deliciousness......so also i hope to do a little sewing tomorrow......well have a good night .......hey you guys follow the biggest looser god i love that show.....God Bless
