54 Day's and Counting

The Area

Well here goes the "Wedding" count down. First it is "The Boy" not the girl getting married. Apron Strings is finally cutting the knot on my apron and tying the knot with this cutie!. What the hell am I going to call him when he gets married. Apron String's worked so well ! I have been doing my best to help with the Wedding and it all started with a small area in the yard.

Alrighty than we start with the small area on the back part of the lawn. I cut the bush's from 1802 down. I went to trim them one day and when I got half way done I realized that they were dead with a few leaves on the outer rim. So Gone.

Ahhh there is the photographer - taking pictures of herself and having fun like a 5 year old.

Her excitement was overwhelming. Well Garden-zilla there are only 52 day's till the I Do day so let us keep track of the Bride emotion's. Hee Hee it has just begun!!!!!

Well the point was to lay some black cloth and put bark down . I think it ended up looking really nice. It is funny how just the smallest thing in the yard makes the most difference.

Ok on a lighter note

Look at my pumpkin i know a little ahead of Halloween but kick butt for my first and the little finch on the leaf of the sunflower they all come and eat the leaves they are so cute and then there is a little hummer in the bush and of course apron strings and his girlfriend pretty girl....nice stuff....LOOVVEEEEE

The sunflower opened and i got a little key chain from weight watchers for getting 10% that means yup 3 more pounds and I'm there ...yezzzzzzz....ok off to Santa Barbara for the Italian reunion of hubbys family there should be some great pictures for tonight god bless and have a great weekend

Well this last weekend

hubby and my little helper got the waterfall/pondish thing started but never I'm surprised it would become such a large project....yet i thought it would be wam bam thank you hubby....So we started with the pot of coffee and my little helper and here are some pictures to show the semi project .ok so my sister and I decide we will wait for hubby to take a nap then we will do more on the fountain.....so we saw how easy it was for him to make the cement for the rocks....so we mix mix mix...little batches......so far so good...but she suggests we get more cement cause it is going fast and ever time she adds water i add cement and we have a huge bucket of cement that we could not even pick up and it is quick set...lol..i know you had to be there but we were working so fast and it just kept getting harder and we were laughing so hard and more water to the already to much cement and the whole time she is saying Lani don't breathe the fumes while it hardens more....We had more fun then we sit back and look at the water fall...The top portion looks like a bed pan look at the picture the top is on a stump...so bright eyes the hubby says lets cement the top part to the stump well plastic does not stick to cement so I ask my sister to please try to take the top part off thinking it would not move it picks right up....lol .....so now not only do we have everything but the right thing in the yard cemented down in the yard except the fountain top is not.look no one said it was ganna be easy....and when we were a little more done we sat down and just started at it knowing there is more to do...why my little sister said she would help again next weekend ..lol.this Adventure is just beginning with the fountain....more to come.....god bless family.......lol....it is going to be done....plus I am back to walking did 2 miles Friday and today did another 3 so the smankle is doing better....tomorrow I will hit the gym i need to get training going for the walk. the diet is moving along but not to fast kind of a snails pace but I'm not giving in I will wear a little tiny tank top for the Avon walk ....lol...right!...ok tired tonight so God Bless and I will update more tomorrow......

Ok Poor Poor Pi-t-ful me.....

So I have this jack ass foot which made me be a big baby today on the way home from work......my suit was tight so all day I talked to my stomach asking it how come it got so big overnight....lol it said this is the one suit of all your work suits that you took in and it was a bit tight but waaaaaaaaa......10 days well so back to poor little me....while i was feeling sorry for myself i went to the vitamin store i love the vitamin store i needed to get something just to help me with the sugar craving...don't get me wrong I'm doing good no sweets since the start...well i did have just a smitten of cheese cake on Easter....so i still have the urge but don't act on it so just a little help they told me that it was my chromionish thingy vitamin ....so that will help....so i get home and decide to go up behind the barn because that is where the unfinished garden is...on the way up i grab my mulch veggies from the kitchen and up to the upper garden i go .... there are little green apricots on the branches....... buds for the plums and the mulch bravo it is golden dirt......so mean while i got out of myself and just ended up being a happy little camper...the only thing i wish i still had was Linda next door.....i talk to myself allot now but keep my ipod earpuffs in so they think I'm singing.......so here are some pictures tomorrow is another day and my baby heather is coming into town we are going to a wedding Sunday to get down get down and dance ...wooowhoooo.god bless and thanks for listening I'm still here and diet is weight in Sunday ......Oh and the cucumbers and pumpkins popped up.....

So today Im going to document what I have done I could not find my camera when I got to the recycling center with a car full of cans bottles and plastic....I opened the car got half the crap out because im sick of wating for apron strings (My son) to take it jezz i need the cash....so the guy as creepy as can be and mean he needed eoither a drink or to get laid.....so he says we don't seperate .....ok fine...."well Didn't ya see the sign lady ??? Oh no but it is no problem and I do not scare easy but he was smelly...Ok ok I will go home and be back...(Jackass) so another nice guy says there is a customer area you can go over there and seperate them thank you doll baby...so I take the car go over seperate and get the stuff into the can which are HUGH and I'll be damn if im going to repack the car so i start to take both the cans and a bag of bottles balancing on my shoulder and this guy is watching my every step and inside I hear him saying these gosh darn women when will they learn we don't do eveyhting for them god damnit.... so I pull up and it was funny im laughing out loud at myself becuase im a do it or die girl...lol....so I go towards the nice boy he takes my crap weighs it..... and im all what sign says seperate hummmm he is an idot then as im mulling around i see a sign as big as my home PLEASE Seperate your bottles and cans prior to pulling in .>>>LOLOLOLOLOL......... so big that i do not know how I missed it.....I laughed and laughed i think smelly thought i was laughing at him so i said Bye and thank you so much for your help you have a great day smelly butt and i added which really put him thu the roof God Bless!.....

So now I'm home and here are a few shots of how I'm spending this day off prior to going and getting shopping done and quilting tonight enjoy

Where have I been

Ok lets go back the last Saturday i shared Ok I canned more here are a few pictures...then I have worked worked and more work mostly catching up with the end of 2009 and have some things going on at work coming up but that is to boring for you guys.....I also started the seeds for the spring garden here are pictures of that...I did that with My best pal Julez she got a new green house and gave me her old one.....SO that to is exciting cause I'm growing my own pickling cucks and tomatillos for the pickles and salsa

















And I went and signed up for the Avon Walk yes 39.2 miles two days WOOWHOOOOO....What am i crazy....I did it in 2007 right after i got done with my surgeries and treatment and it was really a great life experience and I'm giving myself the challenge but i will give you more info on that next week when i have all my ducks in a row...

Drat those dirty Rats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swear if I see one more thing in my yard eaten by the gosh darn rats...So look this my new hammock the one the kids put up for my birthday remember?????? EATEN by the rats...Really they came down from the barn see we hay for the horses and so with Hay comes rats and the area is animal territory with that comes rats...Now I put up with these guys for the past 11 years but my HAMMOCK and my gorgeous Tomatoes..abd No NO NO not the corn..Does anyone have an answer for this pesky [problem..I have dogs so poison is not good....Traps the dogs will just gor for the peanut butter on it or I will make a sandwich with some of the jelly I just made....Look they have even eaten my corn ...So first I thought it was the Raccoons because there was one of the LOGS from the wood I have hardly any of..remember that story and so I thought the cute little raccoons were sitting up on the log eating my hammock...But we moved the log and the hammock kept disappearing...Little by little who eats rope ??????

So then that Hubby goes and gets a new gun a powerful pellet rifle with a new scope and laser and flashlight so he can shoot them that was three months ago the only thing he and his friends have shot is the top of my sprinklers off.....I mean for gosh sakes I got him a camouflage robe to wear out there at at night....I said to him did ya hear the dogs go running out last night ...Yep sooooooooo..... I think I will go out and try my hand at shooting why if Janie was here she could do the work for me she is a good Texan shot...... Well I have now put up large amounts of fence I took wire gate stuff wrapped it around the garden and then chicken wire to keep them out but now how to I get to my vegetables???? Plus i can just hear them at night in the neighbors yard Hey Fellows drop the plums and oranges Lani has Tomatoes... Watermelon and A HAMMOCK!!!! WOOHOOO head to Lanis'....If anyone has any ways for me to rid my Yard of these new little friends please I will gladly pay for the advise....God Bless Im going to grab the rifle...Wish me lucky and thanks for the pictures of your animals for the other blogs.....

Hey Ma here is the raised bed we built and the new back year...This post is for my mommy I keep telling her about my yard but forget to take her pictures so proof see it took us three years to save for the yard and in the mean time the yard was literally sinking but what are ya gonna do when there is no money or should i say when you husband only pays cash fort hings....do not get me wrong this is a good thing but this ole cowboy i married will wait till hell freezes over to do something with out cash...god love him he takes really good care of me although i have been nude for three days no clothes.......but I'm sure when i try to go to work on Monday naked he will surly get me a new suit....just kidding girls and guys
