So then there was 2015

Yet another year when we ask God what do you have in store for me this year. Yes I know it's March and April is right around the corner. Time to hide egg's and get the Seder plate ready.

Looks like MS. Independence got a shit load of carrot's mine look like stubby thumbs. I watch this little woman grow every year into this person I am so very proud of. Her style and attitude is something to admire and follow.










I have gotten into a few things this year I am still painting and the class is a hoot. I do not know what I like better the people or the craft! Here are a few and I noticed I sure like the color blue

So my Shelly her cancer is not getting any better but after a 5r day stint in the hospital she is home. I truly hope her heart is in the right place. I know it must be so hard to deal with all this. After being with my Mama and Casey and there cancer road I know tough trip!

I was Ms.Independence why I could do it all...move mountains...blah... blah.... blah.... What a gift today is...It is my Little Baby girls 26th birthday As I look back I remember the Disco and the dance but I do not remember saying I wanted children????? Ok so I had one but two are you kidding me?????
Thus the love of my adult life was brought into this world....Baby Heather she did not smile until she was oh say two...had no hair and even with the pierced ear's and a dress a lady once still said "What a cute little guy" Really?

She wore her brother's hand me down until she realized "Hey girl clothes work for me" But who else could get sent home in 4th grade for wearing a skirt that is to short...Why it would be my baby girl......

Here are a few of the highlights:
1. With friend  hold a little boy each girl one leg and drop him on his to see what happens.
2. Ride you first pony at 6 and do some jumps and yell "Look mom no hands"
3. Decide that 7 thousand rides on your horse were not enough but the horse did and bit you ear off....literally!!!!
3. Put a Barbie doll ring on your finger but no do not tell mom till your finger is bright purple.
4. Forget to hang up the phone when calling home (message machine still on) and start talking about your sex life......at 16!!!!!
5. Sing your way through High School
6. Be so independent and strong ......

Sunday getting close to falalala

Lani-time I mean lets get real it never was about Flalalalifetime.....besides who watches it my mother in love and ever other woman who has not enough to do.....oh stop Lani today is a great day tomorrow my baby Ms. Independence turns 25 wow reading back in some of my journals i really had fun with that girl she was my second and last and really since Apron Strings did most of the first baby stuff she was like a little doll. Now lets reflect on a much needed subject I have found that now that I am not working I have alottttt of time to dally not dilly just dally and this house has more crap in it than i even knew ..seriously why would anyone have all their children s teeth...ok save a few little ones but jessuss two boxes labeled all the way through there wisdom teeth that is just not right but in looking at them I am trying to come up with a good way to put these little gems to work any idea's? I could make a rattle for when they have there own children but then I would be waiting till I'm oh 80 .....I could gold plate them and make some lovely jewelry perhaps it would become the lastest thing....the possibilities are endless. Well today my friend Johanna boh banna is coming over to make some holiday cookies it should prove to be fun do you remember attitude is everything so while you are out there do not be part of the fa shit crowd put on a holiday face and be nice....God Bless

Fun with the girls

This is what you get for successfully pushing out an adorable baby boy.........yes people times are a changin why when i had my babies it was enough just to have family and friends there to congratulate me.... it does not end there look at the clothes this little boy has my closet is not even as full and lets be honest he will grow out of them by next week.....wait there is more my daughter lil ms. independence day took to this baby like she just got done breast feeding....so there is hope...This is little Leighton he has more hair then me more clothes than me and my daughter got darn close to breast feeding the little buckoh he was hungrywas hungry...Congrat to my dear little Megan and officer Cody Bear....He is beautiful and so spoiled...ok ok so the bath set i happened to bring,,,,What???? every 6 day old needs one...God Bless

So it is apron strings birthday and Heather is home yet again and no it is not for ole mom she has another bachelorette party....but the bonus is we are cooking Rosh oh Hashanah dinner sweet ...I took pictures it will include brisket potatoes carrots matzo bally soup noodle kugle some kasha vanishka...sorry about the spelling and yummy brownies.......So I will give ya pictures later .....God Bless

Hi there!! We have landed on a beautiful island called Rotan, its much more beautiful than the last island we were on , the water is crystal blue. I have yet to really go in the water or see much since the ferry ride here today kicked my ass and i got sea sick again!!!! We left this morning from la cebia where we white water rafted( it was my favorite thing we have done yet ) and we went on a canopy tour on zip lines threw the jungle and across a huge river!! I'm having a great time! I will be heading home Monday morning and will be home late Monday night. I will try to email you before then! xox

This is Rebeka at the vet..and look and heather and Stella they look lokei twins.....



more errands to run...First to Ace hardware to get screens fixed that the granddaughter clawed out to get to those darn squirrels...Heather was able to Jason at the local Ace hardware who yes agreed with mommy the screen can be fixed on site....ta da.....so with a few new hardware things were off to the next chore get the granddaughter off to the vet to get her pedicure and this was fun note the picture of her helping heather drive....stranger things have happened...So while in there we met a few nice dogs and then we are on our way home...drop off the kitty and off again this time stop atBerkley Bowl the best grocery store in the world...got some awesome teas...bulk and pretzel balls for hubby...now i have showered and packed and the next stop airport and home james.....God Bless

Even the cat is saying

turn the key to the left from the window above the door.....i have to get back in today into the
apartment...I have to drive heahter to work then come back to the pad till it is time for my hair appointment....hummmm. now i use to be quite a ballzie chick-a-roo not so much anymore ...why i could go into any biker bar and drink with the best till dawn and still be standing..drive to a different state and know no one but be right at home....just really never affected by stuff..but today to drive her to work on the island of Oakland then come back and spend the day here alone....a challenge let me explain...first i don't know my way around so i have to write down directions to and back for the drive also the door now this is my main issue it gets kind of stuck you know the kind of stuck that only the apartmentt dwellers know just the right leverage to get the door open so her is what i imagine...wait first she gives me a test run with the door ... last night after the movies Sex and the city 2 hummmm well it was a movie but the outfits weird either I'm getting old or fashion bus passed me up......so when we get home heather say mommy you try the door so you will feel better about opening it...ok put the key in and turn slightly to the left...the left..the left mom...that is left child...then she grabs the door and poof opens..i imagine myself sitting on the porch from 11 till 4 when i drive back or i could go sit by the lake across the street and talk to the geese and homeless people.....even the cat will be in the window say to the left...to the left grama...look at the cat's face saying will see if you get back in......Have a good day and God Bless

Ok after the hike from hell.....

We had a great day all in all...after the hike we went to the cutest little farmers market and got stuff..cherries and this cute little store had gnome dishes Someones in the Kitchen to expensive but Tom would have loved them....they had a election for the Dog Mayor of the month to help the town's animal rescue it is in Montclair there are so many nice little towns up here...so after we did the farmers market we headed home so Heather and I could get ready to go see Beach Blanket Babylon now if you have never heard of this play here is the link it is the most amazing funny pee your pants show I think i have seen in quite a while.....we sat by a nice Aussie couple on a vacation to the bay but i think everyone up here is on vacation at the bay...oh dinner yummy and i did watch myself we ate at Tony's this was so delicious and the guy won and award on Food Network was on several TV show yummy and when he walked into the restaurant with his Eye candy girlfriend i had to laugh ......good Food......Then home to the dogcat and Chris.... I should be really sore tomorrow from the hike to hell it was really fun but do you know that time that you are doing something when you say why the hell am i here i did that 4,000 times while walking ....Ok it is a new day and were off to i think the horse races....God Bless

This girl has more of my quilts

Look every room i go in has a quilt did i make anyone else one? Or right Linda......Casey....JJ.....and many others I just think she is special....Oh so last night i do not sleep with a door closed claustrophobic and all so Heather says OK but Stella (the cat) my granddaughter or the closest it seems i will ever get to one will bother you all night oh that is ok...SO im reading and Heather decides to play with her daughter right before she goes to bed...she comes to my guest suite and says here and throw the kitten toy right in to my gagina area and the cat leaps into the air and like a cpougar puts her two claws into my thieghs and I yell Holy S****** thus the vampire marks in my inner thighs.....Then to make the night go on even better this kitty cat does not like purr petty crap like her grama and so she will just grab any part of your body and start chewing not hard just irritating at 1 am....oh it gets better at 4 am after i feel she will be snuggling down she jumps up on the boyfriends desk and thus jumps on his IPOD which is hooked up to the stereo which is set to just loud enough to have me jump out of bed into a karate kid stand and then having to try to turn off the darn thing in the dark because why turn on a light it may bother the no one who is in my room..???? I unplug the darn thing but the speaker part till has a bit of electricity going thu it and thus i do a boogie dance for the grand finally so by now it is turning into 5am so i decide let me open the window and throw the cat out side (kidding) so she can sit on the ledge and look at all the stuff that is going on outside this lasted about one hour then at 6am meow meow meow Holy Moly what now ok I give up lets go make some coffee and feed you so i go to make the coffee i turn the water on and the cat jumps into the sink and starts playing with the water like she were a Labrador puppy ...what the heck is nothing sacred here and what the hell kind of cat is this??????? To be honest she is adorable and a pain in the ass...but what the heck...so now with 15 minutes sleep i am going to go on a hike with the children this should be fun....God Bless.....this should be a exhausting week......gotta love it

My baby is home ......

Heather is home for a few days she is my baby i will share some pictures of us this weekend we will Be going to a wedding ....but i need to focus on the diet...i have been eating right but for god sakes i just feel so bloated.....but i will endure this little challenge i have begun but i am not at all happy with the outcome thus far down i would say only about 4 pounds the kankle is really putting smudge on things but all in all...Life is Good..and I can not complain....god bless...I have been taking random pictures of stuff i think is nice

the vacation just keeps getting betta.....

so today we went to heathers salon CALM oh first did i tell you yesterday i went into the shower to wash up like what else do you do in the shower so i go to wash my hair and this girl has more products in her shower than carter has pills...now keep in mind i do not have my glasses on and i go to shampoo my hair and get the bottle of shampoo when i dispense it it has a red tone but i thought nothing of it so i shampoo and out of the shower and get my makeup on and go to blow out my hair...ms.independence comes in to give me more product and looks at me with that humm kind of stare and says mommy what shampoo did you use....i say the red one....oh my god that one deposits red into your hair...my hair was deep maroon red and so thus we run to the sinks the whole time she is saying it washes out after a few shampoos but why dont' you use dish washing liquid first then shampoo. while I'm doing the kitten is trying to help me picture below....so we get the hair almost to a pink yet peach shade and go off for the day...that was yesterday now fast forward to today we go to the shop so she can work her magic and do my hair.....I have before and after god bless her she is so kind but let me tell you the color looks so good i got back my brunette yet she left soft highlights in the front hey she worked on my hair from ....let me go get some pictures of the day...

Oakland with Ms.Independence & the teacher...

so made it to Oakland safe and sound on my plane trip I'm not a big fly person....an the hour flight seemed like three days........ but i persevered to be with the daughter and it turned out to be quite a pleasant flight i must admit....so i land and off we go to the apartment to meet my new granddaughter Stella.....(the kitten).....so the first night is without to much to do just get adjusted ohhh ohh the teacher went out for some Friday night action with TFA (Teacher for America) friends so open bar and friends at the young age of 24 seems like a Holiday dream yes.....so i get his room yes they have separate rooms this is why they have stayed together for 6 years...lol...people laugh but these two kids should bottle how to keep a relationship good and sell it they would be millionaires.....anywho....sleep we go and the next morning we wake up to go to the flea market pictures attached and it was the biggest and bestest good lord had I only brought my husband truck i would have taken home the mother load.....Pa would be grateful......but i did pick up a few cute things I will take pictures later....anywho while we are driving to the flea market Ms. Independence goes to use her phone and the phone she has is the Teachers lol......we can't call him cause he won't pick up her phone or should i say is to hung over to hear it so sidebar....he wakes up and remembers that he dropped his phone two times when he was walking home from the party and thought he might not have picked it up the second time and looks everywhere for it....while heather and i keep it warm all day....lol....oh the pay back........so the day continues with the city San Fran cisco....the pictures will tell the story i am going to go try to upload a slide show so if it does not come up here re some pictures........
