Me a pie pan and Angel...... now run.............

So for the last three days since Thursday night at 7pm I have been chasing Angel to get a yes you ready urine sample...Now imagine in your mind...Me.... tennis shoes.... a pie pan and trying to get it under this dog prior or at least during the action....Not an easy task....and she has learned to side step while I'm going down with the pan and it only takes a small dog step to avoid the pie pan..I am uploading a few shots of me and the pan and the dog..Finally last night I get a sample and with a funnel get it into the small tube they so graciously gave me..I label it I put it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh...euuuuuu... I march in this morning with my pee and the lady says "When did you get this?" HUH? Last night...oho no no no this is no good we need first pee of the morning ...SHUT THE HELL UP ...... I wanted to tell her to add that sample to her coffee and have nice day....So again tomorrow we start the chase..Now tomorrow morning Iam going to have Hubby stand at the doggie door with her while I position myself on the lawn to chase her down...I tired this once but she headed straight to the little bit of border in front of the patio...hum I will have to just stand by the doggie door and follow AGAIN...I think she is thoroughly enjoying this adventure ...And the baby Blu just sits and snickers at me.....I know they talk about me while I'm at work....damn it...... God Bless

I cannot even imagine getting a urine sample from a dog. However, I, being a visual person, was able to visualize you running behind the dog with a pie pan. Very funny picture!

Of course, she is enjoying this! My alpacas laugh at me!! But I do have a suggestion for you. Get a long stick or pole, you know, like a dowel or pvc pipe. Duct tape a yogurt container to the end. That way, you are standing far enough away from Angel, that she won't know what you are up to. I know. I've had to do this with alpacas. Not easy.

I hope you still have that sample. If you do, take it with you the next time you have a doctors appointment. When asked to go into the litle room and leave a sample....well just substitute. Don't you work in a Doctors office?
