So I'm home sewing working on my calendar quilt challenge yes I am sewing indeed...When the door bell rings and it is the mail person......with a package for me .....Oh yippeee and from where Malaysia yup my friend Diah sent it for my birthday how thoughtful was that?????? This is a woman who follows my blog and had once mentioned how hard it was to get material where she lived it was like a million miles away so I cleaned out the fabric drawer and sent her material..... and how thoughtful of her to send me this cut little clutch purse...HOW CUTE is it...and to top it off this absolutely b.e.a.u.t.eeeeeeeeeee ful material looky and tell me how jealous are we??????..... The best gift in the world is the one sent with love and thoughtfulness an for this gift I am so very grateful my friend thank you a hundred times over ......
How nice is this From my friend Diah go to her blog it is really nice and I find it so nice to read about someone who is a gazillion miles away what a world we live in........THANK U MY FRIEND
Here is the calender challenge quilt I got the first three months done....Jessss what a pain oh sorry this is so much fun.......Sewing 10 x 2 inch strips can get to ya if ya know what I mean...but it is all in the challenge my friend...Well gotta go I'm on a hot run here quilting today and got a new bed...I will get more pictures and blog tomm or if you are luck later tonight........heeeeheeee...love U and God Bless

Have you tried chocolate chips instead of raisins in those oatmeal cookies? I did it with half the batch one time and husband wasn't happy because he finished his with raisins first and didn't want chocolate chips. Bwaaaa hahahaha
And, of course, pecans!
I, too, am working on the calendar quilt challenge. Isn't it sometimes difficult to come up with 30 or so different strips each month? I got caught up today: whew!
