Tragedy in Simi Valley
I want to express my deep sorrow for the Zarate and Stokes families here in Simi Valley who lost there children in the horrible crash Thursday evening...We live in a very small and tight community and everyone has been affected by this. Tonight while driving by the corner that the tragedy happened there were two separate memorials with candles-- flowers-- teddy bears and many young friends playing guitar singing songs and just feeling lucky to still be here but sorrow for the loss of two young friends loved ones and community members . The reason I'm posting about this is i was only about 5 minutes after the accident driving up the street I knew it was bad when i drove by and hoped no one was injured but it was awful. I am not here to pass judgement but lets remember that texting---talking-- and doing things other than driving makes us unable to pay attention ....Pay attention this driver ran a solid red light doing who knows what investigation still pending....Life can be taken so quickly .......and on a serious note i would like to know how someone can run a red light kill two people and not be in jail???? .....It is a sad night In Simi Valley....God Bless
