Ok the Stash Story

Remember the day i was doing my hair color an I started a stash clean up for the International giveaway..Well here is the pictures and the story First I got all dressed up let me go get that shot

Fashion Notes: The hair the color looks great even though it looks like a flock of geese landed in it.....The sweat shirt and the slipper matching combo..but the best is the gnome Jammie's I do not know how my husband can keep his hands off me...He says I'm the only woman he ever knew who can go to bed starting a conversation and wake up finishing it it is none stop talk talk talk ..

SO I decide to take the stash out from under my bed let me go get the shots of this hell forsaken mess

Note the lovely suitcase who would have known????

Now I am sure everyone has a stash my husband had NO idea that I had so much yet so little ladies and Tom........ I thought this gift of a husband was going to be gone for the day when I started this project but NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO he decided after leaving the house in the truck mind you I watched as the truck went down the street out of sight he came back the little devil...and said that he wanted to just relax at the house ......Well after he saw the bedroom stash and the paramedics revived him he was fine and I explained do you know how much fabric most of the women and tom have that quilt??????? this is nothing I say nothing and beside I'm going Thu it to give some away on my blog i swear if he shook his head anymore it would have flown Thu the window and into the back Yard....So now I figure as long as I'm at it lets go get that spare room started for the hum quilt room or guest room the votes are still out but let use the closet so ...let me show you the closet before the overhaul....

THIS CLOSET NEEDS STUFF MATERIAL ETC.....AND LOOK AT THAT DRESSER EMPTY AND ALONE ..........So I go to the room hours and hours later color coordinating and the choice of what to giveaway and hummm does anyone deserve the good stuff..Mind you I have material from 8 years ago when I started to quilt when I know nothing about material and quality why if you used this material to quilt it falls apart in the sewing machine it is so for crap...but do I get rid of it Heck NO!!!!!! I may need it for for for something someday somehow someway ...right ladies and Tom....

Drawers filled.....Candy containers now Fabic container you can see thru......

I have more pictures but the editing part of picture blogging still has me a cussing like a truck driver .....Well I'm off to go try my new camera thing I will be back later ...Hey have a blessed weekend ...

Oh Lani, you have such a perfect way of saying things. I really had to laugh out loud, the others wondering what I was doing. Isn't it nice, trying to clean up. I look forward to your new pictures with your new camera.

Love the stash story. I'm also impressed your slippers and sweat shirt matched. Should see what I'm currently wearing...we could do a style show!

Have a great Sunday, and please visiting often.

Sandy

Lani, My husband says your husband should come here to Maryland and get together for grilled steaks and he wants to show him my stash!
Ughh my husband doesnt have a clue of all of it either!
Do you know I wear the same pajama outfit everyday to sew in? I love working at home, and working in my jammies! Sew comfy & cool!
Many Blessings Diana

hahahaha! Love it!!

About the suitcase. At the Jefferson Texas quilt show in January, one of the vendors had several suitcases...filled with FQs! What a wonderfully neat idea.

Everything WAS neat in the suitcases...and after the show, all the vendor had to do was close the lid, flip the clasps, and load up.

LOL! Your sense of humor certainly comes out in your post!
About our stashes, no matter how big or how small, husbands just don't understand, until you equate it all to their tools, nails, screws, bits, etc... 8-)

Lani, you are such a darling that always visited mine. I need all your courage and laughter to complete my day. But can't say much since my English is quite limited. But I love to read your blog and to share your spirited soul and also the 'other side of you'. Thanks
